The Voya Nui Resistance Team was a Voya Nui-based Matoran group dedicated to saving the island from the Piraka. They were the first ones to realize the Piraka weren't really Toa, and the only six Matoran who weren't infected by the Piraka's Zamor Spheres.

- Garan - leader of the Team. Onu-Matoran.
- Balta - second-in command. Is one of the weapon designers. Ta-Matoran.
- Piruk - spy of the Team. Le-Matoran.
- Kazi - realist of the Team. Ko-Matoran.
- Velika - weapon designer. Speaks in riddles. Po-Matoran.
- Dalu - warrior of the Team. Ga-Matoran.
