Tamaru was a Le-Matoran.
Metru Nui
On Metru Nui, Tamaru's fear of heights kept him on the ground as a used vehicle salesman. He was later trapped in a Matoran Sphere and rescued by the Toa Metru during the Great Cataclysm.
Mata Nui
When most of the village of Le-Koro was kidnapped by Nui-Rama, Tamaru was not, along with a few others. He was later part of the Chronicler's Company, helping Takua to fend off Rahi from the Kini-Nui Temple while the Toa Mata fought Makuta. He escaped with Kongu when the Le-Matoran were being possessed by krana, and later served on the Le-Koro Kohlii team.
Return to Metru Nui
Tamaru has returned to Metru Nui and was helping to rebuild it until it was repaired by the Staff of Artakha.
