Tahnok is a subspecies swarm caste of the Bohrok. They were quick workers. Despite their speediness, they were still very methodical and knew the value of teamwork. When one of their team was hurt, or in trouble, they would make sure it was safe before they continued with their mission. While Bohrok are not naturally aggressive, the Tahnok are the least passive of the swarms. They anger easily and if threatened, they will strike first and ask questions later. They tended to act impulsively and are not as calculating as some of the other swarms. The Tahnok were put to sleep after the Toa Mata combined their powers to imprison the Bahrag. They were later awakened by the Toa Nuva when they were doing a list of things Axonn gave them to do. They later cleansed the land of Mata Nui.
