The Shadow Blade was Mutran's secondary tool. It was a sharp blade that could be used to channel his Shadow powers.
Mutran wielded it for a time, using it to battle the Toa Nuva during the final battle at Karda Nui. When the Energy Storms there began, Mutran was incinerated along with the Shadow Blade and all the other Makuta there.
