The Second Battle of Kini-Nui was a conflict between the Toa Nuva and Teridax's six Rahkshi.
Battle[]
After following the guidance of the Mask of Light on their quest to find the Seventh Toa, Takua and Jaller finnaly arrived at the temple of Kini-Nui. Suddenly, the Rahkshi made their presence known and surrounded the two Matoran at the Amaja-Nui. Just when it seemed inevitable that the Rahkshi would succeed, the Toa Nuva arrived to defend Takua and Jaller. Tahu used the power of the Hau Nuva to protect the Toa and Matoran from a blast of power from Pahrak, Lerahk and Guurahk. Lewa then used his powers to create a sand twister that swept up the three Rahkshi. Tahu added his power to the twister, imprisoning the three monsters in a pillar of glass. Pohatu used his Climbing Claws to capture Vorahk and Kurahk, after which Tahu, Gali, and Kopaka combined their powers to defeat them. However, Turahk, the last Rahkshi left standing, transfixed Takua with his Fear power. Seeing this, Jaller leapt onto Turahk's staff, absorbing and enourmous amount of dark power into his body, killing him. Before dying, Jaller said to Takua, "You know who you are. You're always different."
Aftermath[]
Taking Jaller's last words to heart, Takua finnaly accepted his destiny. He put on the Kanohi Avohkii and was transformed into Takanuva, the Toa of Light. Takanuva then defeated Turahk with a blast of Light energy, ending the battle.
