Radiak was an Av-Matoran residing in Karda Nui. He was going to repair a tear in the Lightvine when Vamprah drained the light out of him using the Avsa. He acted as the eyes of Antroz, as Antroz was blinded when Mata Nui was revived. He was mutated to having four legs by Mutran. He was once friends with Photok and a hero among Av-Matoran. He was since cured by a Klakk and became the first Av-Matoran to be cured by them. He then went with the other Av-Matoran to Metru Nui where the Toa would meet them after the completion of their mission in the Core.

Radiak had the ability to fire bolts of shadow energy and sloth when he was in the form of a Shadow Matoran. Sloth allowed him to make a target too slow and lazy to get away. He could only access the sloth power when he was in physical contact with a Makuta.
He had four sharp leg-blades, razor sharp teeth and razor-edged wings.

- Radiak can be attached to Makuta Antroz's back.
- He can be attached to Gorast as well as Antroz, as shown on the back of the box he comes in.
- Antroz, Radiak, Lewa, and Tanma are a part of the Makuta Spiriah combiner set.
- Radiak's piece count is 16.
- Radiak's set number is 8947.

- Radiak's name presumably comes from "radiant", meaning 'bright', referring to his status as an Av-Matoran.
- Radiak was the only Shadow Matoran to not have the light drained out of him by a Shadow Leech.
