Protodites were violent, microscopic Rahi. Protodites were known to have the ability to fly. Some Protodites escaped from the Archives, and became the favorite prey of Archives Moles. The body of Zaktan was composed of billions of Protodites, each of which held a part of his consciousness.
Protodax
A group of protodites were transformed into Protodax by the Mask of Life to serve as guardians. They were placed in a room with Umbra. When the Toa Inika arrived in their chamber, Umbra "destroyed" the Protodax using his Laser Lance.
