Protodites are violent, microscopic Rahi that escaped from the Archives, then becoming the favorite prey of Archives Moles. Zaktan's body is made up of billions of Protodites, each of which holds part of his consciousness. A group of protodites were transformed into the Protodax by the Mask of Life for guardians.
