Little is known about Phantom other than he was once a Nynrah Ghost who later became a member of the Dark Hunters. When the Matoran on Nynrah felt that there was a need for a hero, since no Toa were present, Phantom was changed into a being with the powers of increased strength, limited flight, dramatically improved eyesight and the ability to become invisible. Sadly though, the Matoran were frightened and ashamed of what they had done, and shunned him. Later on, he was recruited by the Dark Hunters.
