Orkahm, formerly known as Orkan, was a Le-Matoran native to Metru Nui and one of six Matoran who discovered the location of a Great Disk.

History

Metru Nui

Orkahm was Matau's chief rival in Metru Nui. After Matau became a Toa, he saved Orkahm from a trap by Nidhiki, and he agreed to help find the Le-Metru Great Disk. He told Matau that it was trapped in an imploding chute.

After collecting the six disks, he and the other five Matoran fused into a Matoran Nui and saved the Toa Metru from a Morbuzak attack. After leaving the other Matoran in the Great Furnace, Orkahm was captured by Vahki and placed into a Matoran Pod on Teridax's orders.

Later, after the defeat of the Visorak hordes, Makuta Teridax made Vakama believe that Orkahm was a Toa in an illusion. In Makuta's Illusion he was the Toa Metru of Air and was hurt badly, because he waited too long before trying to stop the Morbuzakh vines.

Mata Nui

On Mata Nui, Orkahm was a member of the Gukko Force. Like all the other Le-Matoran, with the exception of Kongu and Tamaru, he was controlled by the Krana for a short time. On Mata Nui, Orkahm's name was temporarily changed to Orkan on Naming Day.

At some point, Jaller returned Pewku to Orkan.

Return to Metru Nui

He later returned to Metru Nui along with the other Matoran and helped to rebuild the city until the Staff of Artakha did the rest. After hearing the Turaga tell of Metru Nui's history, Orkan chose to return to the old spelling of his name as a way of paying tribute to the past. He was also present during the ceremony held for Matoro.

Spherus Magna

Sometime later he evacuated the Matoran Universe and is currently living on Spherus Magna.

Personality and Traits

Where Matau was cocky and reckless, Orkahm was responsible and careful. He was an Ussal rider like Matau once was, but tended to possess more control. His favorite Ussal crab was Puku. He favored a Level 4 Regeneration Kanoka, which he used to fix Chutes. He was also the most grateful and polite of the six Matoran that the Toa Metru rescued.
