Onu-Matoran

Onu-Matoran were cave-dwellng Matoran of the element Earth. They mainly wore blacks and greys, but some have been seen with some tan, orange, and purple. As Matoran of the earth they spent most time underground, and their eyes had thus adapted to see in little light (however, they are easily blinded by bright lights) due to this they could see better at dark places. They tended to put their faith in the past and what can be learned from it. The main Onu-Matoran virtues were Unity, Duty and Destiny, and the principle they get from the virtues is Prosperity. In Metru Nui, Onu-Matoran started out as miners before moving their way up to working in the Archives. On Mata Nui, protodermis and lightstone mining was their main occupation. They also had the Ussalry — a defense force that rode Ussal crabs as their steeds.They were miners or engineers, except Onepu. They all were strong and use Ussal crabs in fights, the tunnels in which they we're working connected Villages.
