Nuhvok were a subspecies swarm of the Bohrok.

History

Nuhvok were created by the Great Beings, basing them off of the Baterra. They could be created out of destined Av-Matoran whose life span had ended.

A Nuvohk was later exposed to a mutagenic substance used by the Bahrag, transforming it into Nuhvok-Kal.

Teridax later awakened the Bohrok early, after his defeat by the Toa Mata. After their awakening, a swarm of Nuhvok, along with a swarm of Lehvak, attacked Le-Koro, where they enslaved all its inhabitants. They were later freed.

The Nuhvok were put to sleep after the Toa Mata combined their powers to imprison the Bahrag.

They were later awakened by the Toa Nuva when they were doing a list of things Axonn gave them to do, and cleansed the land of Mata Nui. The Nuhvok then returned to the Bohrok Nest, where they remain until needed.

Personality and Traits

The most solitary of the swarms, Nuhvok wouldn't immediately defend themselves, but when they determined what was happening, they would strike out with their shields. If backed into a corner, they would strike out tenaciously until help arrived. Nuhvok were at their most vulnerable in open spaces. Therefore, the best strategy for catching a Nuhvok was to lure it above ground away from its swarm.

They were skilled tunnelers, and were active all over Mata Nui. They had excellent night vision, but didn't see well in bright light.

Powers and Equipment

Nuhvok controlled the elemental power of Earth. Their Earth Shields allowed them to channel this power.

• Nuhvok was released in 2002.
• Nuhvok's set number was 8561 and had 40 pieces.
• The set contained a light green Krana piece that was picked randomly.
