Morbuzakh

The Morbuzakh is a plant-like creature that was created by Makuta to drive the Matoran into the center of Metru Nui where he would enslave them. The Morbuzahk's King Root originated in Ta-Metru, the Great Furnace to be exact. It slowly spread across the city.

The Morbuzakh was killed when the Toa Metru used the great kanoka disks against it.

The Morbuzakh's prototype was the Karzahni, a sentient creature. This fact caused it to rebel against Makuta Teridax, causing the necessity of a less intelligent creature.

The Morbuzakh had an appearance in the 2nd BIONICLE Movie (but only once). It was shown when Vakama was holding onto the Ta-Metru Great Disk with his teeth. The "thing" that was holding him upside down, was the Morbuzakh.
