Matoran Alphabet
Talk0this wiki

Added by Dann494The Matoran Alphabet was the system of written language used mainly by Matoran and several other inhabitants of the Bionicle universe. It is similar in most respects to our own, using a system of circles, dots, and lines to convey the characters in the Latin alphabet.
On Voya Nui and Mahri Nui (most likely because they were once connected) hexagons were used in place of circles and the letter K was slightly modified and resembled the latin letter more than the other version. However, it is unknown if this is merely a cosmetic change, or practical.
Matoran had their own numerals as well. It is fairly easy to understand going from #1- #6 but then you reach #7 and can barely tell it apart from #1. The trick is to compare the thickness of the center circle. #1 has a thin center circle where #7 has a fairly thick center circle. Numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 all have thicker centers. 0 and #6 are even harder to tell apart, but as you can see below, #6 has a thick center, and 0 lacks that. To make numbers higher than 9, simply put them side by side as you would in regular Fonts.
