The Magma Swords were Toa Nuva Tahu's Toa Tools. They could not only focus his elemental flame powers, but also combine to form a lavaboard. When crossed in front of him, they can repel many attacks as seen in Mask of Light.

They were transformed from Tahu's Fire Sword when he was transformed into a Toa Nuva. Later he replaced them with his High Speed Rotating Blades when he recieved his Adaptive Armor.

The Magma Swords were included in the Toa Tahu Nuva set and could be attached to his feet to make the lavaboard. You could also put the two swords in one hand to make one big sword instead of two separate ones.
