Onua was the Black Toa Nuva of Earth. As a Toa Mata, he had a Pakari and claws. As a Toa Nuva, he had a Pakari Nuva and Quake Breakers. He felt most at home burrowing through the Tunnels of Onu-Koro.

Lewa was the Green Toa Mata of Air. As a Toa Mata, he had a Miru and Axe. As a Toa Nuva, he had a Miru Nuva and Air Katana. As a Phantoka, he had an Air Saber and Midak Skyblaster. He felt most at home gliding through the Jungle of Le-Koro.

Pohatu was the Brown Toa Mata of Stone. As a Toa Mata, he had a Kakama and Feet Additions. As a Toa Nuva, he had a Kakama Nuva and Climber Claws. As a Phantoka, he had Twin Propellers and a Midak Skyblaster. He felt most at home in the Mountains of Po-Koro.

Tahu was the Red Toa Mata of Fire. As a Toa Mata, he had a Hau and Fire Sword. As a Toa Nuva, he had a Hau Nuva and Magma Swords that could combine as a Lavaboard. He felt most at home in the warm, volcanic Ta-Koro.

Kopaka was the White Toa Mata of Ice. As a Toa Mata, he had an Akaku, Ice Sword, and Ice Shield. As a Toa Nuva, he had an Akaku Nuva Ice Blades and an Ice Shield. As a Phantoka, he had a Blizard Blade attached to his Midak Skyblaster. He felt most at home skiing through the Mountains of Ko-Koro.

Gali was the Blue Toa Mata of Water and the only female Toa Mata. As a Toa Mata, she had a Kaukau and Water Hooks. As a Toa Nuva, she had a Kaukau Nuva and Aqua Axes. She felt most at home swimming through the calm waters of Ga-Koro.

Takua was the Chronicler of Mata Nui and an Av-Matoran disguised as a Ta-Matoran. As a Matoran, he wore a Pakari. When the Avohkii chose him in Ta-Koro, he became the Seventh Toa, Takanuva. He had a Staff of Light.

Whenua was the Black Toa Metru of Earth. As a Toa Metru, he had a Ruru and Earthshock Drills. As a Toa Hordika, he had Thumpers and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, he had a Noble and the Drill of Onua.

Matau was the Green Toa Metru of Air. As a Toa Metru, he had a Mahiki and Aero Slicers. As a Toa Hordika, he had Fang Blades and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, he had a Noble Mahiki and Kau Kau Staff.

Onewa was the Brown Toa Metru of Stone. As a Toa Metru, he had a Komau and Proto Pitons. As a Toa Hordika, he had Claw Clubs and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, he had a Noble Komau and Stone Hammer.

Vakama was the Red Toa Metru of Fire. As a Toa Metru, he had a Huna and a Disk Launcher. As a Toa Hordika, he had Blazer Claws and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, he had a Noble Huna and Firestaff.

Nuju was the White Toa Metru of Ice. As a Toa Metru,he had a Matatu and Crystal Spikes. As a Toa Hordika, he had Hordika Teeth and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, he had a Noble Matatu and Ice Pick.

Nokama was the Blue Toa Metru of Water. As a Toa Metru, she had a Rau and Hydro Blades. As a Toa Hordika, she had Fin Barbs and a Rhotuka. As a Turaga, she had a Noble Rau and Trident.
