The Krana Vu allowed their Bohrok to fly short distances in order to scout, cross an obstacle or escape a threat.

Each Toa Mata had to collect one Krana Vu and the other Krana in order to open up a passage to an Exo-Toa chamber.

Krana Vu were once used by three Pahrak in order to fly to another lilly pad in Ga-Koro.
