Koros were small villages inhabited by mostly Matoran, with a Turaga to lead the village.
After the Great Rescue, the Toa Metru chose the locations of the Koros where the Matoran would live until they would return to Metru Nui.
Each Koro on Mata Nui had a Suva for its Toa. All Koros on Mata Nui were destroyed by the Bohrok.
