Kikanalo were massive rhino-like herd Rahi that lived in the Sculpture Fields, digging up excess pieces of Protodermis. They were usually dismissed as just plain stupid until they were found to be very intelligent by Toa Nokama through a conversation using her Kanohi Rau. Their preferred tactic was simple: stampede. Their stampedes were feared by even the Dark Hunters. They also had a sonic roar that could blow predators away. They once helped lead the Toa Metru to the prison where the rest of the team members and Turaga Lhikan were being held. They would later migrate to Mata Nui and back to Metru Nui, and some were seen on Voya Nui.
