The Ice Shield was a defensive tool carried by the Toa of Ice, Kopaka. While a Toa Mata, Kopaka carried a small shield with holes in it, creating a web pattern. When he was transformed into a Toa Nuva, the shield was changed too, and became larger as well as solid. It was used by Takua and Jaller to ride on in BIONICLE: Mask of Light to escape the Rahkshi. Also, Kopaka could ride it so that he can use his Ice Blades while riding. Kopaka could channel his Ice powers through his shield.
