Hau Nuva after Tahu recieving adaptive armor.
The
Hau Nuva was the
Kanohi Nuva Mask of Shielding, formed when
Kanohi Hau are exposed to
Energized Protodermis. The Hau Nuva shields the user and those nearby from physical harm, as long as the user(s) was aware of all attacks being made at them. In the event of a mental attack, the Hau Nuva was useless. The only beings able to use this mask were
Toa Nuva.

- Set-wise, Trinuma wore an adapted Hau Nuva, however, he did not in the story.
- It could only be made by emerging a hau into energized protodermis.
- In addition with the konoka, it also needs energized protodermis.
