The Kanohi Hau was the Kanohi Mask of Shielding. It gave the user the ability to protect himself from any seen attack, but it was useless against ambush.

Gali, Onua, Pohatu, Kopaka, and Lewa all found their Great Hau but lost them when they became Toa Nuva.

Onua used his Hau once to deflect the tentacles of Teridax. The shield vanished when Teridax ambushed him.

• Lhikan - Great and noble, given to Vakama upon Lhikan's death .
• Pekka - powerless
• Zemya - powerless

• Jaller - Noble, received from Lhikan after his death, lost upon arriving in Karzahni. Later retrived by Tahu.
