The Kranua was an extremely specialized Vahki model, but they were called into action less than the Kraahu.
History[]
A Kranua appeared in the tunnels leading up from Metru Nui to Mata Nui during the time of the Toa Metru. It ambushed them in the tunnels and almost suffocated Toa Metru Matau. However, Vakama used his fire powers to turn the Kranua's sand into glass. As the Toa Metru were leaving, Matau pushed the Kranua over and shattered it as revenge.
Abilities and Traits[]
Powerful and bulky, the Kranua was capable of changing into living sand-like grains of Protodermis, sliding through cracks or gratings, and changing back. It could then flow through narrow cracks or vanish into the pavement before reforming somewhere else. This made the Kranua highly effective at pursuing law-breakers into tiny spaces or confusing rampaging Rahi with its sudden disappearances and reappearances.
