The Crystal Spikes were Toa Metru Nuju's Toa Tools. They helped him to climb from building to building, and could control his power over Ice. When Nuju became a Toa Hordika, these were mutated into Hordika Teeth, but when Nuju was later cured, they changed back to Crystal Spikes. They were lost after Nuju became a Turaga.

In the Toa Metru Nuju set, the Crystal Spikes could be attached to his feet to double as climbing cleats or snow shoes.
