One of the only native species of Rahi left on Odina, the Cliff Screecher is a bat-like Rahi who is said to be incapable to be killed, since its spirit is housed somewhere else. Despite the fact that this may or may not be true, the Cliff Screecher's hunting methods are equally disturbing. The Rahi will attack anything who attempts to scale Odina's cliffs by starting a dive with a loud screech. It will then catch its prey off the rock and then place it back onto the cliff. Then it will knock it off the cliff again. It will repeat this process over and over until the prey dies of shock and/or fear. Although it is not the most efficient way of hunting, it has proven to be effective and cruel.
