BIONICLE: Encyclopedia Updated (also known as 'BIONICLE Encyclopedia Volume 2') was the second and final encyclopedia written by Greg Farshtey and was released on October 1, 2007 with updated information on some of the characters, Rahi species, places, etc. This encyclopedia was extended with more information from the 2001-2007 storyline.

Like the first encyclopedia; it has a pronunciation guide for all of the characters, Rahi species, places, etc. and most of them also have color pictures and also all information are listed in an alphabetical order.

Many omissions and entries from the first encyclopedia were put into this one including information on the Hand of Artakha.

The writer, Greg Farshtey, had forgotten to update some of the entries.
For example, Turaga Whenua's entry stated "How the Toa Hordika transformed back into Toa Metru and escaped to Mata Nui with the rest of the Matoran has not yet been revealed." However, this is contradicted by Turaga Vakama's entry with a detailed description from the events happened in BIONICLE 3: Web of Shadows.
Cancelled Book[]
In this encyclopedia, there are information about the events that would happened in Invasion, the original BIONICLE Legends #7 book that was cancelled due to several reasons. The some of the entries covered only events up to the originally planned BIONICLE Legends #8: Prisoners of the Pit.
