The Akaku Nuva was the Kanohi Nuva Mask of X-Ray Vision, created when an Akaku was dipped in Energized Protodermis. It gave the user and those nearby the power to see through objects and illusions. They were fitted with telescopic lens to give the user(s) enhanced viewing. Only Toa Nuva could use this mask. For some reason, this mask's power cannot pierce the mist in Karda Nui.
