[edit] Past in Metru Nui
Not much is known about Agni's past in Metru Nui. At some point he was summoned to the Coliseum by the False Turaga Dume, along with all the other Matoran of Metru Nui. In the Coliseum, he too was stuffed into a Matoran Pod. He was later saved by the Toa Metru who gave up their Toa Power to save Agni and the rest of the Matoran. He gradually lost his memory about Metru Nui and became shorter and weaker because of the effect of the Matoran pod.
[edit] Mata Nui
Agni was one of various Matoran of Ta-Koro to join in the Ta-Matoran Guard. He fought against the infected Rahi and the Bohrok during the Bohrok War, as a part of his duty as a guard. After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Agni was summoned to Kini-Nui, where he was built into a stronger form by the Turaga.
Agni still continued to be a guard. He talked to Hahli briefly when she was visiting Ta-Koro. After the Great Kolhii Championship he escaped from Ta-koro with the other Matoran, before the Rahkshi destroyed it.
[edit] Return to Metru Nui
He has since traveled back to Metru Nui, where he helped to rebuild it until the Staff of Artakha did the rest. He later also took a part in the ceremony at the Coliseum which was held for Matoro.
[edit] Characteristics
Agni after being rebuilt by the Turaga was entirely red, including the powerless Great Kanohi Miru he wore. His Metru Nui or post- Matoran Sphere appearance was unknown.

As a Ta-Matoran, Agni had a natural resistance to fire and heat.
