The Aero Slicers were tools used by Toa Metru Matau. When he put them on his back, he could use them as wings. He could also wield them as swords by which he could channel his power over air elemental energy. They were mutated into the Fang Blades when Matau turned into a Toa Hordika, but were changed back. When Matau went to Mata Nui, they fused and became his Kau Kau Staff.

- In Bionicle Heroes, Aero Slicers are the second weapons Kongu uses. They are later upgraded to the Laser Crossbow.
